Finally!

Our family is excited to announce we are finally expecting our rainbow baby! Kiddo #2 is set to arrive in April-ish.

While this pregnancy wasn’t a surprise, this baby certainly has been. We’ve had 4 early ultrasounds, and at each, baby looked great, measuring on time with a strong, steady heartbeat. I check in regularly at home with my doppler, and I can still hear that little heart drumming away. We never thought we’d get this far into a pregnancy again. We never thought we’d be a family of 4.

There’s still a long way to go, but we are over most of the scary humps, and we have passed all our loss milestones. We will never forget the 3 little ones we said goodbye to too soon, but we are so grateful, relieved, and thrilled to start planning for a baby who will be coming home with us, whom we will get to watch grow up. We are so very lucky.
