Look who refuses to lay down!
Ian Mac is officially 9 months old. His biggest accomplishment this month is walking! He’s starting to take steps here and there. He’s also enjoying climbing on anything he can hike his little legs up onto and getting into absolutely everything. Each day brings fresh scrapes, bruises, and knots. Keeping him alive is a full time job.
He’s started eating more grown-up foods, trying carrots and green beans and french fries and pasta. He’s still putting away his regular baby food and bottles, as well. At his 9-month well check he was 21 lbs. 5 oz. and 28″ long, so there’s no question he’s well-fed.
Kellen swears he has a tooth coming in on top. I can’t see it and am not fighting him to keep his mouth open. So either he has his first tooth…or not. Hopefully next month will bring confirmation.
He’s more talkative this month, more curious, and has been going through a bit of a growth spurt lately and wants lots of snuggles and being held.
Another big milestone: he got his own bedroom and is now sleeping in the crib, mostly through the night, knock on wood.
His favorite thing to do is bath time, followed closely by playing in his tunnel with Sissy. His least favorite thing is diaper changes. Sitting still AND having someone fuss with his rear-end? No, thank you!
Another month down with my sweet, snuggly boy. It just gets better and better.
