I’ve finally decided to go all in and invest in a pump. Now that I know for sure my office has nursing rooms–and that they will be relatively open for my use–I’m definitely planning to pump and try to keep the EBF train rolling as long as I can.
Trying to pick a breast pump, though, is really overwhelming. Right now, I’m torn between the Ameda Purely Yours and the Medela Pump in Style. The Medela seems to be higher quality, with fewer people reporting issues with suction or the motor dying, but I really like that the Ameda has a closed system that keeps milk out of the tubes–especially since I may not be able to clean my pump while at work.
I’m curious if any of you experienced moms out there have any advice, suggestions, or warnings? 🙂 Thanks!
